There’s a minimalist feel to the scene, with the animal's tracks trailing behind it, emphasizing its solitary journey on the gentle slope. Image taken at 10,000 feet in the Mt. Timpanogos Wilderness area of Utah. The coyote was hunting Uinta ground squirrels that had tunneled up through 12 feet of snow looking for signs of spring.
