Description
Built in the 1750s, St. Michael's Episcopal Church is the oldest religious structure in Charleston, South Carolina. Located at Broad and Meeting streets, it is one of the Four Corners of Law, and represents ecclesiastical law. The other three corners represent federal, state, and local law: the Federal Courthouse and US Post Office, the Charleston County Courthouse, and Charleston's City Hall.
